Update: MRI results on my feet. I broke the heel spur on the bottom of BOTH heels, and the bone around them is bruised and swollen. I also have plantar fasciitis in both feet (inflamed, not torn), plus some mild tendon irritation in my ankles and Achilles. Ligaments and cartilage are fine. Did more damage than I thought, and the toe walking is a big no. As is being barefoot. I will admit, I’ve broken down. I’ve cried. I threw a plate. It’s not easy to stay off my feet. Five more weeks? One month

walking barefoot has changed my relationship to self and the world around. It keeps me more grounded, makes me feel more alive and immersed and usually provides me with a more exciting sensory experience than if I were to wear shoes. is science backed evidence on why walking barefoot can be amazing for you🤍 #barefoot #mentalhealth #globetrotter
