9月19日，宝山区大场镇一小区一处居民家窗口出现一条白化球蟒，蟒蛇在晾衣架上缓慢移动，居民报警后当地公安、消防到场处置。 消防员现场用捕蛇钳控制了这条球蟒。据消防部门介绍，该条白化球蟒长度超过3米重约30斤，万幸事件没有造成人员受伤。
